Alon Shaya loves food. He loves cooking it, being around it, learning about it, and teaching others about it. Born in Israel and raised in Philadelphia, Shaya grew up cooking alongside his Israeli mother and Bulgarian grandmother, where his passion for the culinary arts grew. The two-time James Beard Foundation Award-honored chef and restaurateur behind the critically acclaimed Saba in New Orleans, Safta in Denver and Safta 1964 at Wynn Las Vegas will share his pro tips for cooking and entertaining with Mediterranean flair.
